In addition, the EASE Peer Coaches serve as guides to all campus resources and opportunities. They have a background in tutoring and have excelled in the courses themselves. These students will help provide support in Biology and General Chemistry courses. Tutoring Center assistance is not a replacement for attending lecture and discussion sections for your course. It is led by an EASE Peer Coach, which is an upperclassman Bio Sci student. Students in all courses may also attend their Instructor’s office hours. Please contact the assigned course TA for their specific hours, should you need help with another course. Open Monday October 4th- Friday December 3rd

The FE exam is the first step in the process to become a professional licensed engineer (P.E.). If you are an Engineering senior and would like to work in industry after graduation, you may want to consider taking the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam. UCI BioSci Peer Tutoring An Academic Hand from Students Who Have Been There As you hit the books in coming weeks, there’s a special resource to help if you have questions on a particular course or would like more explanation of a concept. All requests are reviewed on a first-come first served basis, and reimbursement is contingent upon our budget. UCI students can earn course credit (this is not a paid position) for serving as tutors in lab sections for ICS 31-33 (the Python introductory courses), ICS-45C&J (our C++/Java courses), ICS 46 (Data Structures), and ICS 51 and 53 (Assembly programming and advanced C). Once you take the GRE exam, CAMP may be able to reimburse you for the GRE registration fee. Professional Development Opportunitiesįor students interested in graduate school, CAMP sponsors a GRE Preparatory Course in partnership with the Princeton Review. Th e tutoring can be same-age tutoring or cross-age. Th e PSCs attend the Beta Club where they explain the tasks of peer tutors and recruit 7th and 8th grade vol-unteers for one-on-one tutoring of 6th, 7th, and 8th grad-ers. Th e peer tutoring is promoted through the Beta club. The Department of Chemistry provides tutoring in General and Organic Chemistry free of charge for all UCI students.Tutoring is available on a 'walk in' basis and is held in Rowland Hall 517 or 552 (General Chemistry) and Rowland Hall 523 (Organic Chemistry).
